The WISE Conference 2022 Charity of Choice
The Woodlands, TX (April, 2022) — Each year, the WISE Conference planning committee chooses at least one local charity to acknowledge at the conference and give a portion of the proceeds. With the ongoing growth in the area, it is organizations like the WISE Conference that bring awareness and support to local nonprofits that continuously use the donation to make a difference.
“We want to bring attention to what this well-deserving charity does in our community, and we are proud to donate a portion of our proceeds to the Charity of Choice,” said Rosie Calvillo, the 2022 WISE Conference coordinator. “The WISE Conference is more than a women’s business conference – we believe in giving back to those who could use a helping hand, and we will continue to support our community.”
Wise Charity of Choice 2022 – Sleep in Heavenly Peace
We are excited to be working with Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization this year to promote their non-profit to the community. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nonprofit organization consisting of a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.
In March 2021 Mike Fortner, Tom Michel, Jennifer Hudson, Tami Michel and Will Warren co-founded a local chapter of a national organization called Sleep In Heavenly Peace. Inspired by the need to end child bedlessness in Montgomery County their chapter has been able to build and deliver over 300 beds (as of April 2022) to families in need through an application process that also allows each child to pick out the bedding they want on what is often their first own bed.
Through monthly bed builds and bed deliveries, Sleep In Heavenly Peace Montgomery County, TX Chapter has been supported by the incredibly generous and passionate support of its community volunteers and donors. The mission is simple and continues to resonate with all who become a part of the movement to make sure No Kid Sleeps On The Floor In Our Town!

About the WISE Conference
The WISE Conference is an annual conference, and a cooperative effort between Women On A Mission To Earn Commission (WOAMTEC) and Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW). WISE—Women Inspiring Supporting Empowering caters to professionals with a desire to learn more about work-life balance and gather tools, tips and strategies to implement and streamline their businesses.
