ANGELA F. CARTER is President & CEO of AFC Power Strategy Group, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in Strategy & Branding, Strategic Financial Management, and Corporate Training. She is completing a Doctor of Business Administration and holds a MBA in Finance and BBA in Management.
Ms. Carter develops and facilitates seminars and conferences focused on the development of innovative and compelling leadership skills for business professionals. She was honored by National Association of Professional Women as a 2015 Professional Woman of the Year recipient for distinction in progressive leadership in business. Ms. Carter has experience successfully solving challenging projects in educational, nonprofit, governmental, and corporate environments. Ms. Carter cultivates client relationships to deliver business solutions that support increased productivity and performance.
Ms. Carter continues to make a valuable impact through her leadership and mentoring of business students and professionals nationwide. Her recent co-author publications have allowed her to express a clear message to women about the power they possess as global change agents. Ms. Carter has a deep-rooted passion to help individuals transform their thinking patterns to help recognize their greatest accomplishments and triumphs are within reach.

A highly-motivated entrepreneur and community volunteer, Melanie is the driving force behind finding solutions for Better Bookkeepers’ clients. She is passionate about helping business owners and non-profits overcome book keeping challenges to help them achieve success.
Melanie began her bookkeeping career while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from SMU in 2002 with multiple degrees in Political Science, Public Policy and Economics, Melanie continued to expand her personal bookkeeping business. In 2006, a move to The Woodlands, Texas created a catalyst for significant growth. Better Bookkeepers, Inc. was founded in July 2010 and has rapidly expanded into a thriving bookkeeping service. In 2016, Better Bookkeepers was honored to be named Small Business of the Year by Lone Star College- Montgomery’s Small Business Development Center.
Melanie is deeply committed to serving her community. She was elected to the Board of Trustees for Conroe Independent School District where she has served as Secretary and is currently President. Melanie is the Past-President and Past-Lead Mentor for the Executive Women’s Alliance, as well as a Power Mentor for the Montgomery County Association of Business Women. She is involved in the Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, and Interfaith of the Woodlands, as well as many other community organizations.
In recognition of her service, Melanie was humbled to receive the 2016 Citizen of the Year award from the Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2017, Melanie was nominated and confirmed to the Board of Directors of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce.
Melanie believes in having a proper work life balance. She enjoys spending time with her husband Alan and their two daughters, Rebekah and Audrey. The Bush family is actively involved in the youth and children’s ministries at Crossroads Baptist Church. Melanie also enjoys training for and competing in sprint triathlons as well as curling up with a good book.

Elisa holds a position with All About People as a Senior Executive Recruiter. She enjoys learning a person’s professional preference which helps her to assist them in finding the perfect job which makes the most sense during the current phase of their career. When working with Business Clients she helps to identify the perfect Candidate to fill open positions while establishing strong relationships as a partner that leads to Client company growth.
Prior to working at All About People, she transitioned from Corporate Recruitment to lead Business Development efforts for recruiting services which focused on Executive, C-level and varied Engineering groups in Chemical, Power, Oil & Gas markets nationally.
Growing up on the Gulf Coast with a love for the ocean, Elisa serves as an Organizer/Coordinator for Foundations in Corpus Christi and Galveston Island chapters which help to protect and preserve oceans and beaches.
Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, watching her sons play sports, spending quality time with her daughter, husband, family and friends.
